Cooley's day job is pretending to be the Founder of AppSwarm Inc, a respectable self-made businessman. However, his most favorite and better paying job is scamming.
Clay Fraud Cooley is a ruthless, shameful investment scammer who targets people and uses his 'genius entrepreneur' reputation to lure them into business investor contracts. What happens then onwards is a series of taking, taking, and taking as much as possible and wringing honest, unsuspecting investors dry of resources. When he is done milking them out of money, he walks out and straight-up denies even knowing you. That is why it was about time someone took a stand and made his reality known to the world, so no more investors believe his disgusting lie of a success story and agree to investing in his ventures.
His reputation as founder AppSwarm Inc is exactly what fooled us into believing that he was a genuine investee. On top of that, AppSwarm being in the software and application development industry had high hopes for the future as well. It was just our luck that we believed Clay Cooley was an honest man with honest intentions merely asking us for investment to improve his company's operations. Being the decorated genius that he was according to the media, we had no reason to doubt him. Not knowing what was ahead of us, we agreed to the deal and entered a business investor deal with him.
Clay Cooley had promised us huge returns and a one way ticket to success, and needless to say, we were in quite the daze. That's why we did not even think much of it when he requested that we transfer the investment to his personal account. It dawned on us afterwards that it was not an investment towards AppSwarm Inc's future, but a donation to Cooley's pocket. When we were sure that our worst fears were true, we tried to get some answers out of Cooley to no avail. He refused meetings and would not respond to emails or phone calls at all.
It didn't take us much longer to register that the company is both a front for him that helps him fool and lure investors, and it is an accomplice as well. We had invested all we could spare, and fraud Cooley now had all of it without a speck of shame. The loss was crushing and there was no way we could recover any of it. At this point, all we could do was warn others to beware of AppSwarm Inc and its scamming Founder Clay, to try and save any more potential victims from being scammed.
